The reason why we consider the protection of natural resources so important is definitely because our company has been located in a beautiful place in the Black Forest for 150 years.

Surrounded by natural wonders, we develop and manufacture our own products.

We benefit from the crystal clear, almost limestone-free water provided to us by The River Elz. And we want it to stay that way! That's why our new Sewing-All rPET 100% recycled sewing threads are made from what's been in our environment for a long time - from your used PET bottles. The production of these threads consumes less energy and produces less CO2!

Thanks to the encouragement of our customers and our desire to create Debesu Pļavas as a place where you can buy everything you need to create ecological, human, and environmentally friendly products, we started looking for ecological thread options, because with our existing - GOTS certified 100% organic cotton thread: http://www.debesuplavas.lv/e-veikals/100-organsikas-kokvilnas-diegi,is not enough, because they are created for sewing organic fabrics, such as linen, and other types of fabrics that do not contain elastane and do not stretch, but our offer also includes GOTS-certified organic jersey fabrics. We needed to continue looking for threads that meet our requirements and so we looked out for the Gütermann creative team and received warm words, support, and encouragement, which really pleased us, despite the fact that we are still a young and small company, with big dreams, they did their best to deliver these great threads to us within 4 weeks! And it proves that even huge companies can support small ones, with a heart in the right place and with good intentions - to do good and preserve our beautiful Earth, producing threads from PET bottles, which are thrown in the away and pollutes nature every day as an example.

GÜTERMANN Sew-All rPET thread, 100% recycled polyester, 100m spool.

GÜTERMANN Sew-All rPET thread good properties:

100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles
Made in Germany;
Does not fluff during sewing;
Thread has a consistent thickness, thus creating additional security for the seam;
The thread does not twist;
Tear and friction safe;
Flexible and soft;
durable color, does not fade.

To produce about 1000 meters or 10 spools (100m) of this thread, it is needed to recycle only one PET bottle!!!

Application:

all types of fabric and seams;
for sewing with a sewing machine and by hand;
quilting and finish seams;
for overlock and safety seams:
buttonhole sewing and button sewing;
